Yesterday, we launched our campaign to amend the Constitution to undo the terrible U.S. Supreme Court decision in the Citizens United v. FEC case. As you may know that case threatens the very fabric of our democracy by allowing an unlimited flood of corporate cash into our elections. Why not simply amend the First Amendment to read:
Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof; or abridging the freedom of speech of individuals or of the press; or the right of the people peaceably to assemble, and to petition the Government for a redress of grievances.
